'Big Mouth' Wants Clues In Vietnam Vet Murder Case

Broward Crime Stoppers at (954) 493-TIPS

POMPANO BEACH (CBS4) ― The investigation into the murder of a South Florida Vietnam War veteran is getting a big boost from a big mouth, literally.

Big Mouth Advertising has donated their rolling billboard services to help BSO with the capture of the suspects who robbed and shot Richard Entriken on January 26th outside of his Pompano Beach business.

Five of the billboards-on-wheels are displaying enlarged reward flyers with the details of the Entriken case as they travel through south Palm Beach County and north Broward County. The billboards will spread the message that the murderers are still on the loose and there's a $26,000 reward for information that leads to their arrest.

BSO investigators say Entriken was killed outside of his business, the First Step Sober House, shortly after he collected rent from the tenants.

Entriken and two business partners were leaving the building, a residential drug and alcohol treatment center, when they were approached by three men who robbed Entriken. After handing over the money, the suspects still shot Entriken in cold blood.

The suspects are described as three black males, believed to be in their late 20's to early 30's. They fled the scene in a dark blue or black compact, newer model, possibly 4-door, foreign-made vehicle with dark tinted windows.

Anyone with information on the robbery or suspects is asked to call BSO Homicide Detective Frank Ilarraza at (954) 765-4321 or Broward Crime Stoppers, anonymously, at (954) 493-TIPS.

Twelve years ago, Entriken founded "The First Step Sober House", a halfway house for convicts recovering from drugs and alcohol. It's mission that was close to his heart because he had just recently celebrated 16 years of sobriety.
