NORTH MIAMI (CBS4) ― A Miami Dade video game store manager was shot to death in cold blood, now police are releasing a surveillance tape of the outside of the store taken immediately after shooting in hopes of catching those responsible.

The shooting occurred last Friday at the Multivest Video Games store at NW 7th Ave. and Miami Gardens Drive. Police say three men burst into the store in a robbery attempt and started shooting. Corey Robinson, the manager on duty, pulled a gun and fired back. Both Robinson and one of the gunmen, identified as 25-year old Daniel St. Surnin, were hit by gunfire. Surnin died inside the store. Robinson was rushed to Memorial Regional Hospital in Hollywood where he died.

Robinson's father heard that there had been a shooting at his son's job.

Michael Robinson told CBS4 Reporter Sharrie Williams, "They say he was shot two times in the back, and they say one pierced him in the heart." He added, "I never thought I'd bury one of my own children."

The two other men involved in the robbery attempt were able to escape before police arrive.

After reviewing the tape of a surveillance camera outside the store, police a white SUV seen leaving the area is connected the to robbery attempt and a man running after it may be one of the subjects involved.
