SeaWorld Raises Prices But Offers Deep Discounts
Busch Gardens, Aquatica & Adventure Island Also Going Up
(CBS4)
If you're planning to take the family to SeaWorld in Orlando or Busch Gardens in Tampa this summer, you may want to budget a bit more money.
The theme park's parent company, Busch Entertainment Corp. announced it is raising its one day rate for Busch Gardens, Seaworld, Aquatica and Adventure Island by 2-dollars.
It'll now cost nearly 70-dollars to get into Seaworld and Busch Gardens.
There is a way to save some money, however, because the company is also offering new discounts in multi-park deals for Florida residents.
A two-day, two-park pass for Seaworld and either Aquatica or Busch Gardens will cost nearly 80-dollars, which is 20-percent less from the previous offer of nearly 100-dollars. In addition, a three-day, three-park ticket for SeaWorld, Busch Gardens and Aquatica costs nearly 120-dollars, which is 11-percent less than its previous price.
Both Walt Disney World and Universal Studios raised their fees to 71-dollars a day late last year.
Busch is also continuing its "Pay for a Day" deal through Labor Day. The deal allows Florida residents to buy a one-day, one-park pass at regular prices and continue returning to the park all year.
