A Skeleton Found Hanging In Backyard Tree

OAKLAND PARK (CBS4) ― A South Florida man was trimming some trees in his backyard in Oakland Park on Friday when he discovered skeletal remains hanging from a tree.

Broward County Sheriff's authorities say Glenn Parker found a skull, a hand, and other human remains hanging several feet off the ground.

Homicide detectives examined the remains, which authorities believe have been hanging from the tree since last year.

Authorities say the death appears to be a suicide and no foul play is suspected.



The Medical Examiner will determine an official cause of death.
