Bank Robbed For The Third Time This Year

TAMARAC (CBS4) ― A bank robber targeted a Tamarac bank Saturday afternoon and the Broward Sheriff's Office said they suspect it may be the same man who has robbed the same bank on two previous occasions.

The robbery occurred just after 2 p.m. Saturday at the Bank Atlantic on the 4200 block of West Commercial Boulevard, according to BSO spokesman Mike Jachles.

The man is described as 5-feet, 10-inches and weighing about 200 pounds. He has a beard. He was seen wearing glasses, a black and yellow hat and black and red gloves. He has short dreads. Police say the suspect has dark skin.

The previous bank robberies occurred earlier this year in March and June.

Anyone with information is asked to call Broward Crimestoppers, at 954-493-TIPS.
