BSO Bags Suspected "Bad Breath Bank Bandit"
FORT LAUDERDALE (CBS4) ―
Somebody get this man a jail cell and a Tic Tac.
The man suspected of being the so called "Bad Breath Bank Robber" has been arrested and charged.
Broward Sheriff's investigators say a tattoo led them to 19-year-old Tommy Dobson for the robbery of a TD Bank in Tamarac. During the robbery last Monday, surveillance tapes show a man entering the bank around 11 a.m. He then walked up to a teller and handed her a Halloween themed bag and demanded that she fill it up with cash. Later the teller would tell investigators that while she never saw a gun, she did notice that the guy had really bad breath.
Going over the tape investigators noticed a distinctive tattoo on the bank robber's right hand, which spelled the word "Wifey", which led them to Dobson.
Dobson has been charged with robbery and resisting arrest without violence.
