South Florida Spends Sunday Under Tornado Watch

MIAMI (CBS4) ― A Tornado Watch was issued for most of South Florida until 9 p.m. Sunday evening.  The watch has now expired, but poor weather continues to rip through the area.

A Tornado Watch means conditions are favorable for tornadoes in and close to the watch area. In addition, these areas could see hail up to half an inch in diameter, dangerous lightning and wind gusts in thunderstorms up to 70 mph.
