Three Women Charged With Stealing From Toys 'R' Us

FORT LAUDERDALE (CBS4) ― Brenda Valle-Martinez, Sepia Brown and Legarrielle McKay walked into Toys 'R' Us on Tuesday and walked right out with a cart full of stolen merchandise.

The trio wanted to buy a birthday gift for Brown's daughter but none had the money, so they loaded a cart with $756.00 in merchandise and walked out the door, bypassing cashiers and security system. The store manager asked for a receipt once they were outside, but they proceeded to Martinez's car, loaded the merchandise into the trunk and started driving away.

The store employees called 911, and provided a detailed enough explanation of the car and the suspects, who are all in their mid 20's, were stopped by responding patrol officers. All merchandise was recovered from the trunk.
