Rain And Thunderstorms Possible On Saturday
MIAMI (CBS4) ―
For those of you who are grilling out or enjoying parades and festivities around the area, you might want to keep an umbrella handy as showers and a few thunderstorms may form in the afternoon and early evening hours on Saturday.
High temperatures will max out around 91 degrees, but heat indices around the area could reach as high as 100 degrees on Saturday, so make sure and keep hydrated.
As the evening turns to night, there will still be a slight chance of showers and storms, but the likelihood of storms lessens as it gets dark. Temperatures should be a muggy 78 degrees for the fireworks displays expected across the area.
And according to CBS4 chief meteorologist David Bernard, there's not likely to be much of a change in the weather pattern for the next several days. Afternoon showers and a few thunderstorms are likely for the next several days, with highs around 91 and lows in the upper 70's.
