MIAMI (CBS4) ― On Tuesday, Fredi Gonzalez was told he would return as the Florida Marlins' manager.

He'll come back with three other Marlins' coaches who agreed to 2010 contracts on Friday.

Bench coach Carlos Tosca, hitting coach Jim Presley and bullpen coordinator Pierre Arsenault will be back next season. The three agreed to deals three days after uncertainty surrounding Gonzalez' job was cleared up.

Florida owner Jeffrey Loria called Gonzalez on Tuesday to tell him he would be back for a fourth season.

The Marlins had previously declined to address Gonzalez' future with the organization because the front office was upset that the team didn't make the playoffs.

Third-base coach Bo Porter and bullpen coach Steve Foster declined offers to return, the Marlins said Friday.
