When your child is in a trauma situation such as Michael's, you think you can just sit by his bedside and hold his hand and pray. However, this is not so. There are many doctors that you need to consult with; there are two shift changes a day; and then there are Mikey's bandage changes. This alone can take anywhere from 2-4 hours, and it's done twice a day.
