List Of Road Ranger Hour Reductions

  Here is a list of proposed changes to Road Ranger services starting July 1, 2008:


I-95 in Miami-Dade County: Reduced staff working 24 hours a day
I-95 in Broward County: Full staff working only from 6AM to 7PM on weekdays. No service on nights or weekends.
826: Reduced staff working only during daytime on weekdays and weekends.
I-75 in Miami-Dade County: Reduced staff working only during daytime on weekdays and weekends.
I-75 in Broward County: Full staff working only from 6AM to 7PM on weekdays. No service on nights or weekends.
Florida Turnpike: Changes still not decided

The state legislature slashed the Road Ranger budget from $21 million to $11 million. Wait time for service could go from 20 to 45 minutes in some areas.
