LOS ANGELES (CBS4) ― From director J.J. Abrams and screenwriters Roberto Orci & Alex Kurtzman comes a new vision of the greatest space adventure of all time, "Star Trek," featuring a young, new crew venturing boldly where no man has gone before.

This film is a chronicle of the early days of James T. Kirk and Mr. Spock, their first meeting at Starfleet Academy and first outer space mission.

The Star Trek prequel will hit theatres May 8, 2009.
