Van Dur Sloht Exdradited To Aruba In Holloway Case
ORANJESTAD, Aruba (CBS4) ―
Jordan Van Dur Sloht, a third suspect in connection to the disappearance of Natalie Holloway was extradited Friday from the Netherlands to Aruba.
In addition to Van Dur Sloht, suspects Satish and Deepak Kalpoe were re-arrested in Aruba on Wednesday when prosecutors announced they had "new incriminating evidence" in the Natalie Holloway case.
All three teens face charges of voluntary manslaughter and suspicion of causing serious bodily harm which may have led to the death of 18-year old Holloway.
The judge will consider whether prosecutors have enough evidence to justify detaining the three suspects for the next eight days while the investigation continues.
Holloway was last seen alive in Aruba leaving a bar with the three teens in May of 2005. She had gone to Aruba with classmates to celebrate their high school graduation. Searchers have found no trace of the Alabama native since her disappearance.
All three men were previously held as suspects in the case but released for lack of evidence.
An attorney for the Kalpoe brothers called the arrests "an action of despair."
