'Minor Incident' Reported At Indian Airport

NEW DELHI (CBS) ― Police in New Delhi are telling the Associated Press that a 'minor' incident occured at New Delhi airport and no one has been killed.

The British Broadcasting Corp. had reported that six gunmen have been shot and killed by Indian security forces at New Delhi's main international airport. Now the BBC is reporting that police are investigating "two sharp sounds" and have denied reports that people were shot and killed.

Airports in India went on high alert Thursday following fresh warnings of attacks as officials said India suspects two senior leaders of a banned Pakistani militant group orchestrated last week's deadly siege in Mumbai.
