Bus With 15 Children Overturns In Illinois

SHERIDAN, Ill. (CBS) ― A school bus with 15 students on board ended up on its side after colliding with a pick-up truck near Sheridan, Illinois.

The accident happened about 10:45 a.m. in LaSalle County, CBS station WBBM-TV reported.

The school bus overturned on the passenger side and ended up in a ditch.
An Emergency Medical Services box alarm was called for the accident, automatically sending 15 ambulances.

Most of the students on the bus were hospitalized, but most were also able to walk after the accident. They were hospitalized at regional medical centers in LaSalle and DeKalb counties. The driver of the bus was also shaken up as the bus rolled over.
