MIAMI (CBS4) ―
Beverly Goebel scored, and the Miami Hurricanes women's soccer team shocked No.2 North Carolina, 1-0, on Sunday.

The win was the biggest in Hurricanes' history - UNC is the highest ranked opponent Miami (8-8-1) has ever defeated.

The defending national champion Tar Heels (12-3-1) lost back-to-back games for the first time since 2000. On Thursday, North Carolina lost to Florida State, 3-2, in double overtime.

Goebel's game-winner came in the 81st minute. Fellow team captain Jessica Wyble fed the ball to Goebel, who connected from 25 yards out for the score.

The Hurricanes wrap up their regular season with games against Virginia Tech and Virginia on the road.
