Murdered Teen's Family Needs Funeral Help

FT. LAUDERDALE (CBS4) ― The family of a South Florida teen who was murdered needs your help.

13-year-old Neica Gibbs' body was found next to a dumpster in Fort Lauderdale last week. Police say she was murdered by a boy in the neighborhood, 15-year-old Jason Hartley.

Gibbs' family does not have the money to give her a proper burial and funeral. CBS4 and Neighbors 4 Neighbors are now trying to help the family raise the necessary funds.

Hartley allegedly strangled Gibbs after the two argued following a sexual encounter.
