Neighbors4Neighbors: A Comforting Bedtime Story

HOMESTEAD (CBS4) ―

On behalf of CBS4 Neighbors4Neighbors, a special bed donated to a boy suffering from a rare bone disease demonstrated how the South Florida community can come together. Not only did a Homestead teenager get the medical equipment he needed, but another company helped with the transportation expense.

Ramces Nova, a Homestead teen suffering from a brittle bone disease, received a special bed in which  Hollywood-based company, the Continental Group, volunteered its time, gas and manpower to make the donation delivery possible.

Ramces' mother, Belkys Broti, was thrilled when the bed finally came to her door, "We couldn't afford it, you know, to get him the bed he needs."
