Woman's Body Is Found By US1 Bridge In Fla. Keys

ISLAMORADA (CBS4) ― Police in the Florida Keys need your help in solving the case of the suspicious death of a woman off U.S.1.

The Monroe County Sheriff's Office says two couples of tourists walking on the Channel 2 Bridge, at the 73rd mile marker in Islamorada, spotted the woman's body and called them to report it Wednesday afternoon. Police say she looks young to middle-aged, but can't be more specific with her age until an autopsy is performed.

She was heavy set, with dark hair that was wavy and shoulder length or a little longer. She had no identification with her, but did have a tattoo on her shoulder.

Detectives believe she probably died within a 24 hour period, but will not say the cause of death until an autopsy is performed.
