Saks Launches 'Key To The Cure' Campaign

Saks Will Donate 2% Of All Profits To Key To The Cure

MIAMI (CBS4) ―

A long shopping weekend for a cause will help raise money and promote awareness for women's cancers. Saks Fifth Avenue and the Entertainment Industry Foundation (EIF) are partners in "Key to the Cure".

All Saks Fifth Avenue stores will donate 2 percent of all profits to Key to the Cure, up to one million, during October 18-21. Off Fifth stores will donate 1 percent of profits during the same time period to benefit local and national women's cancer charities.

Juicy Couture is the 2007 designer of the Key to the Cure limited editiont-shirt, available at Saks Fifth Avenue stores for the price of $35. 100 percent of the proceeds from the sale of each tee will benefit the Women's Cancer Research Fund, a program of the EIF.

Actress Renee Zellwegger is the 2007 Entertainment Industry Foundation (EIF) ambassador to the Saks Fifth Avenue Key to the Cure campaign.

Key to the Cure is a women's cancer initiative founded in partnership with EIF's Women's Cancer Research Fund.

The program receives on-going support from Mercedes-Benz USA, which will also donate one million dollars to the cause through the sale of 1000 Special Edition 2008 C350 Sport Sedans. These Special Edition vehicles will be sold at authorized Mercedes-Benz Dealers.

EIF is the entertainment industry's leading charitable organization and has shared hundreds of millions of dollars in support of critical issues facing our society such as breast cancer.
