It's Time To Race!

Hello Friends!

It's time to put on your running shoes, gather your friends, and Race for the Cure! Recently I attended the kick-off breakfast for this years race which will take place Saturday, October 20th at Bayfront Park in Downtown Miami. A very touching video was shown of last year's race. What I find most amazing it so to see the sea of people - all gathered for the same cause - to fight breast cancer.

More than 14,000 people were at the South Florida event last year. This is the 24th anniversary of the Susan G. Komen Race for the Cure. People in cities all over the country will be doing their part too - making for the largest series of 5K runs/walks in the world! Isn't that incredible! And when you take part - it's amazing to feel like you are a part of something so huge. Even though you don't know the other participants - there's a common bond there.

I've taken part in "Race for the Cure" events in Orlando, Dallas, and this year, it will be South Florida. I can't wait - and I hope to see you there!
