Panthers Top Lightning 4-3
Cats Move Into 8th Place In Eastern Conference
TAMPA (CBS4/AP) ―
The Florida Panthers came back from a 3-1 second period deficit against the Tampa Bay Lightning Saturday night to win 4-3.
Jay Bouwmeester's goal with a second left in the period proved to be the game winner completing Florida's three-goal period.
Bouwmeester gave Florida a 4-3 lead with a power-play goal from the left circle just as the second period ended.
Gregory Campbell, Cory Stillman and Richard Zednik also scored for the
Panthers, who have won five of seven.
Tampa Bay got goals from Vincent Lecavalier, Vinny Prospal and Ryan Malone.
