No-Kill Shelter Pet Rescue Miami Closing Its Doors
MIAMI (CBS4) ―
After serving Miami-Dade for nearly three decades, Pet Rescue Miami will be closing its doors in the coming weeks.
Founded in 1982, the no-kill shelter at 3440 Northwest 191st Street has helped thousands of stray or abandoned dogs and cats find new homes. Now because of a drastic cut in donations and people willing to volunteer their time, those who run the shelter say they are no longer able to keep it open.
