President-elect Barack Obama and his family have arrived in his native Hawaii for a holiday vacation, a trip aides say would likely include the release of an anticipated internal review.
An Obama aide says the transition is ready to release an internal investigation into what contacts Obama aides had with Illinois Gov. Rod Blagojevich. Federal prosecutors say Blagojevich tried to sell Obama's former U.S. Senate seat to the highest bidder, an allegation Blagojevich denies.
Obama has not been accused of wrongdoing and has said he is eager to release the details of his team's internal probe.
He does not plan any public events during his 12-day vacation, although he is expected to have a memorial service for his grandmother, who died one day before Obama's election on Nov. 4.
