Bagels Sold At Publix Recalled

MIAMI (CBS4) ― If you buy bagels at Publix, you'll want to check your loaf and your pantry.

Western Bagel Baking Corp. is recalling a limited number of 12-ounce packages of Publix Brand 100 Percent Whole Wheat Sliced Bagels with lot code dates of 10491 and 11291.

The recalled products have the UPC 41415-78290. They were distributed throughout Publix chain stores.

The products may contain egg, which was not declared on the packaging. Those who have an allergy to egg run the risk of a serious or possible life-threatening allergic reaction if they eat the product.

The company said there have been no reported cases of illnesses.
