CBS4.com invited visitors to take part in a live webchat during the Vice Presidential debate. As we streamed the debate live, users could comment on what the candidates were saying, how they felt, and how the debate might influence their choice. The chat is presented as it unfolded, complete with spelling errors.

sailor: I lived in alaska for several years and any person (especially a female) that can succeed in the political climate (chilly!) has to have something going for them....

sailor: the credit "crisis" is a result of many many people of all political views....
psyco_chick32: You know, it's all well and good to talk about what Obama and McCain did in Congress, but when it comes down to it, a lot of decisions were made and/or broken in the White House.
Jimbo: Yeah, lots of people are to blame, but the republicans were in power...house, senate, and congress for the first 6 years of the mess
