When the best players in the NFL charge into town most people focus on the celebrity loaded parties and of course the big game. Each year the Super Bowl host city benefits from a series of sanctioned charity events, a side of the NFL that often goes unnoticed. "Blitz Build," and, "Kickoff To Rebuild," are two events where NFL athletes teamed up with local volunteers to make improvements for local residents that will last long after the Super Bowl is over.

It's the first time Broward County plays host to the Super Bowl, and Saturday night Ft. Lauderdale shined as it hosted the Super Bowl Saturday Night party. Thousands attended the free beachside concert featuring the Barenaked Ladies, O.A.R. and Robert Randolph and the Family Band.

The 4th annual Celebrity Beach Bowl kicked off Saturday, Feb. 6 in South Beach. It was a day full of sun, sand and lots of action from the best of the football and entertainment world.
