Up, Up, and Away With Fay

A man with a need to fly in the face of Tropical Storm Fay took his challenge of nature one step too far, and it almost killed him. WFOR Photojournalist Yuseith Osario was covering Tropical Storm Fay at Ft. Lauderdale Beach when he spotted what he thought was a waterspout forming. What was whipping through the air was a man, not a twister, but the ride for Ray Kearney of Ft. Lauderdale was no less wild!

As horrified beach-goers watched, the man, later identified as 26-year-old Kevin Kearny of ft. Lauderdale, was snatched up into the air by the strong winds, locked in to his harness.
