Parents and classmates of a 15-year-old girl allegedly shot by another
girl at Dillard High School are shocked that such violence would take
place in their school and shocked that they lost someone who they
called a loving classmate.
Doctors were unable to save Amanda Collette, 15, who was shot on
campus Wednesday morning. The shooting suspect, Teah Wimberly, also 15
years of age, was questioned at police headquarters and charged with
first-degree murder.
A vigil was held for students at Dillard High School on Thursday morning.
