As of Oct. 13, 2008, firefighters in California were battling three
blazes for just as many days across the southern part of the state. The
wildfires have destroyed dozens of homes and forced thousands to
evacuate. Take a look at photos of the disaster as captured by
residents living in suburban Los Angeles, northern San Diego County and
near the San Fernando Valley, about 30 miles northwest of Los Angeles.
