April 16 - Daily Soaps Update

NEW YORK (CBS) ― Here are the daily soap opera summaries for "The Young and the Restless," "The Bold and the Beautiful," "As The World Turns," and "Guiding Light."

THE YOUNG AND THE RESTLESS

Lily shares with Cane about Neil's disappointment in her.  Neil explains to Karen that Lily is pregnant. Then Neil asks Karen if she would raise the baby with him. While Lily tries to decide whether or not to keep the baby, Cane assures her that he is ready to raise it.  Jill asks Chloe to get Lily to a doctor as soon as possible. When Adam makes a mistake with Beauty of Nature, Victor wonders if he made the right decision taking it away from Victoria.  Later, Adam calls a friend in New York to try to catch up on his trip. Phyllis playfully welcomes Nick back from Los Angeles.  Moments later, Sabrina arrives to discuss renting the bottom floor of the warehouse for Victor's collection. Nick agrees to rent Victor and Sabrina the space. Victoria is furious when she learns that Victor owns the building where Restless Style is held.  Victor assures her that he did it to protect Nick. Phyllis informs Nick she needs to fly to New York tonight for business, as Adam prepares to leave for his trip as well.  Phyllis and Adam learn they will be in New York at the same time. Victoria is completely thrown when Sabrina confesses to her that she is involved with Victor.  Angry and hurt, Victoria throws Sabrina out of her house.  Victoria calls Nick, hysterical and he rushes to be with her. Victoria fills Nick in about Sabrina and Victor's affair and also that Victor owns the mortgage on the warehouse.  Nick is shocked on both fronts.




THE BOLD AND THE BEAUTIFUL 

After taking some time to think about his decision, Nick admits to Taylor his concerns and adds how the court decided what is best for Jack right now.  Nick tries to explain to her that he doesn't want to hurt her.  Rick bursts in and announces to Nick that he is hurting her and if he wants a war over this child, he's got one. Rick then tears up the papers.  Pam rigs Eric's phone so that she can hear his conversations with Donna.   Donna voices to Eric her insecurity in their relationship, thinking that he may have grown tired of her.  Hearing all of this, Pam gloats and loves that her plan is working.




AS THE WORLD TURNS 

Mike thinks Katie still has feelings for him and thinks he can stop Katie and Brad's wedding. Katie plans to ask Vienna to be her maid of honor, but learns she has the chicken pox. Desperate, Katie asks Henry to reconsider being Brad's best man so he can be her male maid of honor. Jack tells Katie he'll be Brad's best man, but only if Brad agrees.  Meanwhile Brad asks Mike to be his best man. Mike can't believe Brad is asking him to be his best man, but agrees. Katie realizes that three of her ex-husbands will be in the wedding party.

Carly is furious when Jack shows up to fix the security system at Metro. Carly is having trouble dealing with Jack's rejection. A distraught Carly comes looking for Lily and breaks down and Holden's not sure how to comfort her. Carly is surprised that Holden understands what it feels like to be rejected.

Holden is upset that Lily didn't tell him she was going to the cemetery to visit Dusty's grave. Lucinda can't understand why Holden is jealous of Dusty now that Dusty's dead. Lucinda advises Lily to work on her problems with Holden before it's too late. Lily returns from the cemetery looking for Holden.




GUIDING LIGHT

Dinah gives Hans $100 to call Mallet and tell him there's a disturbance. Mallet asks Dinah not to prank him anymore and Dinah rushes after him. Mallet tells Dinah he loves her, but things are too complicated when they are together. He kisses her, and then forces himself to walk away.

Frank announces that his suspension has been lifted-but Doris is keeping Mallet on as permanent chief. Harley learns from Frank that Mallet has been named the permanent chief. Marina tries to talk Frank into coming back to the SPD as a detective, and Frank accepts Mallet's offer.

Just as Harley seems to be getting back in the swing of a normal day-to-day life she gets a call from a telemarketer for Gus and begins to crumble again. Cassie and Cyrus run into each other both dismissing their sleeping together as a mistake. Cassie tells Cyrus Josh knows what happened, but not that it was with Cyrus-and Harley never needs to know. Cyrus calls Marina to set up a lunch date and warns Marina not to come between him and Harley. Cassie admits to a stranger that it might be a relief if Josh left her. Cassie calls Josh apologetically, asking him to come back home.

Rafe tells Daisy he needs to be home with his mom, and Daisy needs to be home with Harley.  Brendan comes to Daisy for his ID and doesn't pay her. Daisy goes to Marina with her heartache knowing she'll understand. Cyrus offers to help Daisy make it a better business venture-but she'll owe him.
