April 21 - Daily Soaps Update

NEW YORK (CBS) ― Here are the daily soap opera summaries for "The Young and the Restless," "The Bold and the Beautiful," "As The World Turns," and "Guiding Light."

THE YOUNG AND THE RESTLESS

Jeff catches Alistair and Gloria mid-kiss but his reaction isn't at all what Gloria had hoped for. While Jeff drinks alone to forget Gloria, Gloria does her best to get Alistair out of her room as quickly as possible. Unbeknownst to Gloria, who is in the bathroom, Alistair sneaks into her room with flowers.  Later, Jeff confesses his true feelings to Gloria only to realize that he is speaking to a sleeping Alistair.  Gloria comes out of the bathroom to find both men. Jeff, hurt and angry, leaves. Nikki finds proof that David is gambling again. David covers well, but Nikki is already suspicious. Nick is showing Nikki Jabot's presence on the Restless Style website when Felicia arrives to discuss more Fresh Face of Jabot business.  Nick and Felicia plan a dinner date to discuss Lily and a new spread for the magazine. Later, Adam interrupts Nick and Felicia's dinner and tries to bait Nick with comments about Victor.  Felicia picks up on the tension and starts to put the pieces together when she learns Adam is Nick's brother.  Later, Nick and Felicia bond over their mutual rebellion against their fathers. When Nick leaves, Adam joins Felicia. Victor assures Sabrina not to worry about Victoria's reaction to their relationship and suggests they go on vacation to Milan.  Later, Victor and Sabrina run into Nikki, Nick and Felicia at the club.  The Nikki confronts Victor about his relationship with Sabrina and how he is hurting both Nick and Victoria.  Victoria tries to put on a brave face with J.T. about Victor and Sabrina's relationship.  Later, J.T. confronts Sabrina and asks her how she could hurt Victoria this way.  Sabrina explains to Victor that she can't live at the ranch anymore.  Sabrina realizes that she threw away her life-long friendship with Victoria for a possibly fleeting relationship.  Victor, however, assures Sabrina that she is his future.

THE BOLD AND THE BEAUTIFUL 

At the courthouse, Taylor acknowledges that she hadn't answered Rick's proposal, and lets him know that she needs to focus on Jack and consider Phoebe's feelings before she can answer.  During the hearing, Nick testifies that he is not opposed to having joint custody with Taylor.  After Brooke publicly condemns Taylor for her relationship with Rick during her testimony, Rick blurts out that he and Taylor are engaged to be married.  Following Tiny's memorial service in the Forrester's backyard, Pam blames Donna for the dog's death and threatens retribution.  Pam vows that the tricks she played on Donna recently are small in comparison of what's to come.

AS THE WORLD TURNS 

Paul confronts Mike about taking Meg up in the balloon, and they explain their mistake. Meg suggests that she and Paul go up together, but Paul refuses. Mike understands Paul's jealousy, especially when he sees the champagne picnic. Meg admits to Mike that she still has feelings for Paul.  Mike tells her not to walk away if there's still potential for the relationship.

Chris, Alison, Aaron and Sofie meet for dinner.  Chris and Aaron clash over ordering an expensive wine. Meanwhile, Sofie excuses herself to check on Paul, but tells the table she's checking on Barbara. Aaron goes to check on her and realizes Sofie lied. Before Sofie can reveal her own feelings, Meg enters. Meg accuses Paul of falling back into old jealous patterns, and challenges Paul about his closeness to Sofie.  Paul laughs off the implication and they kiss. After the disastrous double date, Chris and Alison share a warm moment. Sofie explains she only lied to Aaron because she didn't want to argue about her friendship with Paul again. Meg leaves Paul in a good mood, which is ruined when the balloon company calls and says that the champagne picnic was eaten.  Paul vows to get rid of Mike.

Lily is excited about hosting a dinner with Holden as a couple again. Lily sees the two mementos she kept from Dusty and hid in a cupboard; she pushes them father back. Jack asks Holden and Lily not to push him and Carly together.  After having too much wine, Carly lashes out at Jack and stumbles out of the room. Carly and Jack leave to get the kids, and Jack refuses to talk to Carly. While cleaning up, Holden finds the two Dusty mementoes that Lily has hidden.

GUIDING LIGHT

Dinah tells Hilda that there is about to be a robbery and suggests she calls Mallet. Mallet arrives and Dinah admits she faked the burglary. Dinah seductively tells Mallet to book her. He's about to kiss her when another cop walks by bringing Mallet back to his senses. Mallet learns that Dinah is the reason he's the SPD Chief. Dinah asks Marina if she's sleeping with Mallet. Mallet confronts Dinah about the job and storms out, clearly still affected by her.

Nat tries to get Olivia to stay on top of her meds and to get her cleaned up. Nat tries to get Olivia to rent the house to her so Rafe can have a real home.  Olivia refuses-then collapses. Nat rushes Olivia to the ER. As she's taken into the exam room, she tells Nat to not call anyone. Jeffrey gets a call from Nat. Jeffrey and Ava move Olivia into Cross Creek, where they will take care of her. Nat calls to check in on Olivia.

Jeffrey tries to talk Ava out of her baby lie, but she's sure there will be a baby soon-and that Bill is ready to dump Lizzie. Bill tells Dinah he's at the house but that they have to talk somewhere else.  Back at the house, Bill tells Lizzie he has to check on something and she thinks that "something" is Ava. Lizzie tells Bill she's going to make sure Bill stays with her, no matter what tricks Ava may pull. Remy breaks into Ava's car and goes to work on the engine. Later, Remy offers to fix Ava's car and she can't help but check him out.
