April 24 - Daily Soaps Update
NEW YORK (CBS) ―
Here are the daily soap opera summaries for "The Young and the Restless," "The Bold and the Beautiful," "As The World Turns," and "Guiding Light."
THE YOUNG AND THE RESTLESS Sharon orders a re-shoot on some photos for the magazine and becomes excited
about her new role at Restless Style. Later, Phyllis arrives back from New
York and loves the photo-proofs Sharon ordered a re-shoot on. Sharon and
Phyllis clash over the photos and Phyllis overrules Sharon's decision to do
the re-shoot. Jill puts a stop to a deal Nikki approved. Brad overhears the
fight. Brad continues to try and undermine David and Nikki to Jill. As
Victoria and J.T. prepare for Reed's christening, Victoria reconsiders
having Sabrina as Reed's godmother. Later, Sabrina is excited when Victoria
calls and asks to meet with her. When they meet, Victoria informs Sabrina
that she doesn't want her to be Reed's godmother. Sabrina arrives as Nikki,
J.T. and the reverend are going over the last minute details for the
christening. Victoria meets with Nick and asks if Phyllis would like to be
the new godmother to Reed. Later, Victor comforts Sabrina, who assures him
that she has no regrets about them. Nikki is hurt when Victor allows Sabrina to
ride her horse. As Neil and Lily make plans for the baby, Lily explains to
Neil about Cane's proposal. Neil is pleased until Lily reveals to him that
she turned Cane down. Meanwhile, Cane returns Kay's ring to her. Kay
assures him that when Lily is ready she will marry him. Lily explains to
Neil that Dru's memory helped her decide to keep the baby and she wants to
name it Drucilla. Meanwhile, Kay assures Cane that he will be a wonderful
father. Cane reminds Lily that even though they are having a child, they
don't have to stop dating. Later, Cane asks Lily to consider moving into
the Chancellor mansion while she is pregnant. Jana gently informs Amber that
Lily is pregnant. Later, it becomes clear to Jana that Amber is upset by
the news of Lily's pregnancy. Amber reveals to Daniel about Lily's
pregnancy and asks him to define their relationship. Later, they decide to
go on their first real date. Daniel confides in Phyllis about the pregnancy,
and that he has moved on. Phyllis wonders if he moved on with Amber. Jana
explains to Kevin that everything about their wedding has to be perfect and
Kevin sets out on a mission. Later, Kevin asks Jana to get engagement ring
tattoos.
THE BOLD AND THE BEAUTIFUL
Storm tries to convince Ashley that he is not dangerous and promises that he
would never be violent with her because he is falling in love with her.
Katie explains to Nick how Storm shot Stephanie because of the love her
brother has for his family. Storm is the kind of person who protects the
people he cares about, not hurt them. Katie assures Nick that Ashley would be
lucky to have a man like Storm in her life. Stephanie calls a family
meeting where she informs her children and Eric that she plans to step down
from her position at Forrester Creations. Eric is extremely touched when
Stephanie pronounces that she wants him to buy her half of the house and
hold his and Donna's wedding there.
AS THE WORLD TURNS
Ameera is embarrassed after telling Noah her feelings. Ameera tells Luke and
Noah she's going back to Iraq. Luke says they have to find a new way to deal
with the situation and proposes all three of them live together.
Paul tells Sofie that Meg wants nothing to do with him. Meg tells Mike she
and Paul are finished. Meg tells Paul he has to cope on his own. Holden
backs her up. Sofie comforts Paul. Mike tells Meg he's decided to stay on
the project.
Brad is upset that Katie went to talk to Mike. Katie tells Brad he'll have to
deal with how she and Mike deal with each other. Brad and Katie decide to
start over with a clean slate, as a pretty teen-aged girl looks for
Brad.
Casey tries to talk the judge down from hurting Emily and he is taken away by
the cops. Margo blames Emily for the situation. Casey and Margo clash over
Emily, and she fires Casey.
GUIDING LIGHT
Jeffrey offers to take Olivia out for a drive and says that it's time for
them to meet with Mel about their divorce. Olivia's touched that Jeffrey's
allowing her to stay at Cross Creek for as long as she needs. Olivia signs
the divorce papers in front of Jeffrey.
A kid comes in, busted for having a fake ID. Harley says she'll let the kid
off with a warning if he tells her where the ID came from. After Harley
confronts Daisy about the IDs, Cyrus admits he was helping her. Daisy sees
Rafe with Christina and asks if he's dating her. Harley tells Cyrus that
being together is wrong, and that she feels like she's cheating on Gus. He
kisses her, then walks away.
Though touched by Frank's offer to have Nat and Rafe move into the boarding
house, she turns him down. Natalia gets frustrated by the condition of their
motel room and storms out. Nat and Rafe show up, asking Frank if the room is
still available.
Cassie wonders why Cyrus is working the late shift again. Cassie introduces
herself to an attractive man as "Brooke". Cassie asks Jeffrey if she's heard
from Josh, admitting they'd had a fight. Cassie consoles an upset Daisy,
saying that love isn't simple or easy.
