April 29 - Daily Soaps Update
NEW YORK (CBS) ―
Here are the daily soap opera summaries for "The Young and the
Restless," "The Bold and the Beautiful," "As The World Turns," and
"Guiding Light."
THE YOUNG AND THE RESTLESS
Amber rambles to a waitress about her relationship with Daniel. Amber tries
to drop hints to Daniel about her desire for something more from their
friends with benefits arrangement. Daniel teases Amber at work and she
finally loses it on him. Phyllis and Sharon watch on as Amber lets lose all
her emotions on Daniel. Phyllis learns that they slept together. At Restless
Style, Phyllis and Sharon continue to clash when Sharon wants to pull an
article from the layout and Phyllis refuses. Nick overrules Phyllis, and
sides with Sharon in regards to the article. Neil and Cane try to comfort
Lily after the loss of her child. Lily tries to cover her pain by acting as
though the loss doesn't really affect her. Neil thanks Cane for standing by
Lily. Later, Karen drops by to pick up some of her belongings and is
startled to learn from Lily that she lost the baby. Meanwhile, Cane
explains to Kay and Jill the sad news. Karen runs into Neil as she is
leaving the apartment and he takes out his pain and frustration on her.
Nikki praises Victoria for rising above Victor and Sabrina's actions at the
christening. Later, Victoria gives Nikki and Nick her opinion on a Restless
Style ad for Jabot and they all discuss Adam. Adam voices his frustration to
Victor about Beauty of Nature, and suggests he move him to mergers and
acquisitions. David meets with a supplier to inform him that Jill nixed the
contract. David assures him that for a finder's fee he will find a way to
make the deal work. Nikki confronts David about his behavior at the
christening but he covers. Nikki, however, doesn't buy it. Victoria
confesses to Nikki that she has been thinking about working for Jabot.
Meanwhile, Adam drops a christening gift off for Reed, unnoticed by Nikki or
Victoria. Victor explains to Neil that he is increasing Adam's
responsibility at Newman and he wants Neil to mentor him. Victor assures
Neil that is has nothing to do with family, but Neil is far from convinced. On
her way to meet with Victor, Victoria finds Adam's gift and is touched.
Victor informs Victoria that he is giving her back B of N and giving Adam
her job. Victoria is insulted. Adam's ex-girlfriend, Skye, arrives in Genoa
City. Adam is floored to see her.
THE BOLD AND THE BEAUTIFUL
Lt. Baker and his son, Charlie, arrive looking for Storm. Donna is angry at
the sight of them and screams at them to leave because Storm isn't around to
arrest. Ridge apologizes to Brooke for informing the police about Storm
shooting Stephanie. Then Ridge asks if Storm has been arrested. Brooke
explains to Ridge about Storm's abrupt exit and how she regrets the things she
said to him. Ashley makes clear to Brooke how Storm was just trying to be
heard and was reaching out to her, which she didn't realize until after the
fact. Ashley understands Storm a lot better now and knows that he is very
misunderstood. The note Storm left behind is found.
AS THE WORLD TURNS
Parker tells Carly he wants her and Jack to stop fighting. When Carly's car
won't start, Holden offers to jump Carly's car. Holden offers Carly a ride
home and they discuss the possibility of summer camp for the kids. Carly
tells Holden she's planning to look at a camp, but finds out her car won't
be ready in time. Carly and Holden plan a road trip for the following day.
Luke tells Holden he's moving in with Noah and Ameera. Ameera surrenders the
bedroom to him and Noah. Despite Ameera, Luke and Noah are glad he's moving
in. Luke and Noah grow close, but Ameera's presence gets in the way. Luke
decides to leave and hurt Noah tells Ameera he wants the faux-marriage over
ASAP.
Katie suggests sending Liberty back to her mother's until the DNA results are
in. Brad, Katie and Liberty run into Parker and Jack and make introductions.
Brad asks Katie how she really feels about Liberty and she finds out that he
hasn't asked Liberty to leave. Brad tells Katie he wants to do right by
Liberty. Katie gives in, with hidden reservations.
Paul tells Meg he's starting therapy to win her back, but she tells him
therapy's no guarantee they'll get back together. Sofie tries to stop Paul
from drinking with a passionate declaration - declares her feelings for him
and sweeps him into a kiss. Meg finds out Paul canceled therapy and blames
herself. As Paul and Sofie begin to make love, Meg walks in on them, unseen.
GUIDING LIGHT
Harley tells Cyrus she wants to close out Gus's caseload. Buzz pushes Cyrus
to work harder because Harley and the boys deserve more than he's giving.
Cyrus, in uniform, dismantles the alarm to a house. Cyrus breaks into the
house, but the alarm blares. He quickly hides.
Coop is concerned Ashlee's overexerting herself too soon after surgery. Doris
suggests helping Ashlee through the post-surgery diet by doing it with her.
Ashlee forces Coop to go to his shoot instead of hanging with her, but later
surprises Coop at the photo shoot. Concerned, he cuts his photo shoot short.
Coop and Ashlee begin to kiss, but as she reaches for him, she winces in
pain.
Bill says he gets nervous when Lizzie is overly nice to Ava. Lizzie tells
Bill that her mother is calling her but it's actually Remy, asking for a pay
raise. Remy tries to ask Ava out but she turns him down cold, saying she's
got a man. Lizzie let's Ava believe that Bill can't stop talking about the
baby. Bill finds Lizzie in tears claiming Ava took her dollhouse. Ava defends
herself, upset Bill is accusing her of stealing. When Remy picks her up Ava
kisses Remy on the cheek, thanking him. Later, Ava learns she's
pregnant.
Harley forces Cassie to have dinner with her and Cyrus. Harley sends her off
to help Cyrus. Cassie feels bad about their affair, but Cyrus tells her to
just let it go. Cassie and Cyrus avoid eye contact as Harley toasts to
them-two people she loves very much. Harley hears that the SPD is in a
hiring freeze and rushes off, leaving Cyrus and Cassie alone. Harley talks
Doris into giving her a place at the SPD despite the freeze.
