April 30 - Daily Soaps Update
NEW YORK (CBS) ―
Here are the daily soap opera summaries for "The Young and the Restless," "The Bold and the Beautiful," "As The World Turns," and "Guiding Light."
THE YOUNG AND THE RESTLESS Adam and Skye are flirtatious as they talk about Newman and why she is in
Genoa City. Skye tries to find out if there are any gambling possibilities
in town. Skye pretends to be a poker-idiot and Brad is intrigued by this
mysterious woman. Brad invites her to his weekly poker game. Skye confesses
to Adam how she hooked Brad into letting her play in the poker game. Victoria
is furious with Victor's decision and lets him know it. Adam stops by to
apologize to Victoria about the meeting with Victor earlier. However, the
two end up in yet another fight when Adam brings up a company he wants to
acquire that Victoria doesn't agree with. Later, Adam presents his
information to Victor, but Victor asks him to consult Victoria. Nikki and
Victor have a nice moment until Sabrina interrupts it. David is hurt that
Nikki doesn't trust him, but Nikki asks him to be patient with her. Later,
David learns that his account is overdrawnand needs money fast. David
bumps into Brad and asks for a spot at the weekly poker game. Paul asks J.T. for
information on David. J.T. promises not to say anything to Nikki about Paul
investigating David. Brad tries to act like everyone's best friend and
favorite employee in front of Jill. Meanwhile, David blows up at Nikki when
he feels like she is interrogating him again. Michael and Lauren are determined
to have a good night out at Indigo without mention of Gloria. Meanwhile,
Gloria is excited to see Jeff but lets her insecurities get the better of
her and she attacks him the first chance she gets. Later, as he walks away
from her, Jeff cancels a surprise he was planning for Gloria. Gloria finds
Michael and Lauren at Indigo and explains to them her plans to adopt a child.
Meanwhile, Jeff asks Jack to allow Gloria to move back into the mansion.
Jack refuses. Jeff runs to Jill at the G.C.A.C. and asks her out to lunch
sometime. Jeff informs Jill that he is in the process of removing Gloria
from his life. Meanwhile, Michael and Lauren watch Gloria in horror as she
consults with her lawyer. The lawyer explains to Gloria that the adoption will
take a couple of years. Jack realizes he is truly happy in his life with
Sharon and Noah, in the Abbott mansion. Jeff leaves Gloria alone at the
G.C.A.C.
THE BOLD AND THE BEAUTIFUL
Ridge begins to feel guilt over informing the police about Storm shooting
Stephanie. Ridge fears that this may affect his relationship with Brooke.
Brooke and Donna are tempted to open the note that Storm left behind even
though it was addressed to Katie. Donna calls her father, Stephen, and asks
him to come back to town to help the family deal with everything. Later, Brooke
gives Katie the letter from Storm which reveals that he had left her a
gift. Upset that Storm wasn't arrested, Stephanie has some choice words to
say about him. Eric compares Stephanie to Storm, stating how both of them
would do anything for their families.
AS THE WORLD TURNS
Meg sees Paul making love with Sofie. She rushes out, and Paul, despite
Sofie begging him not to, goes after her. Upset Paul follows Meg to Mike's
room, and pounds on the door, saying he's not leaving until Meg talks to
him. Mike calls security to have him removed. Mike convinces Meg to go to
the police station to get a restraining order. Sofie arrives to bail Paul out.
Paul tells Meg that his being with Sofie was a mistake, as Sofie overhears.
Mike comes to Meg's defense and gets into a fistfight with Paul. Meg decides
to get the restraining order against Paul. Sofie confronts Paul about what
he said earlier. Sofie tells Paul she loves him, and she accepts him for who he
is - unlike Meg. Paul and Sofie start to make love again.
Chris and Alison make plans to have dinner. Later, Chris realizes he already
made plans to go out with his parents and convinces Alison to join them.
Kim's comments upset Alison, and she has to leave the table.
Matt wants to see Casey before he's sent back to jail. Emily convinces Casey
to go see Matt for closure, as she places a mini tape recorder in Casey's
coat. Matt apologizes, and warns Casey not to be too trusting. As he leaves,
Casey discovers the tape recorder and confronts Emily. Casey finally agrees
to let her make it up to him by taking him out to dinner. Emily, seeing Alison
is out to dinner with Chris and his parents, loses her appetite and flees.
Casey goes after her and challenges Emily to a pool game. If he wins, she
has to buy him dinner. Chris presses Alison about moving ahead with their
relationship. Alison saves a choking man - impressing Bob and Kim. After his
parents leave, Chris invites Alison to join him for a nightcap in his room.
Chris wants to leave Emily in the past, and move on with Alison, but Ali's
not sure that's possible. She says goodnight, and only lets Chris kiss her
on the cheek.
GUIDING LIGHT
Ashlee covers her desire to speed up her weight loss through exercise. Daisy
shuts off Ashlee's treadmill, worried Ashlee's pushing it too hard. Blake
makes Coop read her the chapter from his book. Ashlee rushes in just after
the reading and uneasily watches Blake and Coop interact. Ashlee assures
Coop that she's doing okay post-surgery, but later turns down a movie date with
him to exercise.
Natalia tells him Rafe he can go out with Daisy if he wants because he's a
man now. She trusts him. Daisy is thrilled when Rafe comes to see her, but
when Rafe is still uncomfortable around her, they realize they aren't meant
to be and exchange a bittersweet goodbye.
When Reva returns Jeffery assures her that he and Olivia are divorced. Reva
tells Olivia she can stay as long as she keeps her mitts off Reva's man. Ava
checks on her mom, tells her she's pregnant, and later shares the news with
Jeffrey. Reva enjoys time with Jeffrey till she sees someone watching her.
When Olivia and Nat discuss Nat's housing problems, Olivia in exchange for
money tells Natalia she'll need something to help her feel connected to Gus
- like Natalia's wedding ring. Natalia agrees, and Olivia admires it until
she leaves it for Natalia at Company. A mystery man sits looking at photos
of Reva and Jeffrey that someone just took when they were at
Towers.
