NEW YORK (CBS) ―
ere are the daily soap opera summaries for "The Young and the Restless," "The Bold and the Beautiful," "As The World Turns," and "Guiding Light."
THE YOUNG AND THE RESTLESS In the aftermath of Gloria's prank on Jeff, Gloria feels horrible as the
coffeehouse is cleared out. Gloria tries to apologize but Kevin fires her.
As the doctors work on Jeff, Jill becomes terrified because no one will
inform her about what is going on. Jill and Gloria stand off outside Jeff's
hospital room when Jill refuses to let Gloria see him. Jeff crashes and rushes
to write a goodbye letter to Gloria. Michael arrives and drags Gloria away
before Jill assaults her. Sharon is none too happy that Gloria tried to
poison Jeff. Jack defends Gloria and Sharon agrees to let her stay at the
mansion. Jeff gets the okay to leave the hospital and hides the love letter
he wrote to Gloria. Jill asks him to come back the Chancellor estate. Later,
Esther sees Jeff ripping up the letter he wrote to Gloria. Jeff reveals to
Jill this isn't the first time Gloria has poisoned something before. Gloria
begs Lauren for a job at Fenmore's. Victoria admits to Nikki that she feels
bad about turning down Sabrina's request for Victoria to be her maid of
honor. Later, Victor asks Adam to stand up for him at the wedding. Adam
advises Victor to ask Nick as well. Nikki stops by the ranch to pick out a
memento for Miguel. Nikki and Victor share a poignant moment as they
realize how much has changed in their lives. Nikki encourages Nick to run
the article on Sabrina and Victor. Meanwhile, Sabrina encourages Victor to make
amends with Nick and Victoria and he agrees to ask Nick to be his best man.
Phyllis points out to Nick that he is allowing his feelings toward Victor to
cloud his judgment. Nick gives the okay to write the article on Sabrina as
Victor enters. Nick tears into Victor about Sabrina and Victor decides not
to ask Nick to be his best man. When Amber hears about Adrian's book, and his
teaching issues due to it, she suggests he come write for Restless Style.
Jack decides to hire Adrian for the article on Sabrina without Nick's okay.
Phyllis tries to set Amber up with Adrian.
THE BOLD AND THE BEAUTIFUL
During their trip to Catalina, Katie becomes remorseful about all that she
hadn't accomplished in her life and knowing that she will not ever get the
chance to achieve them. Resigned to having a peaceful death, Katie refuses
to take her medication. Donna convinces Eric to hire the caterer, Marcus as
Pam becomes more suspicious of the connection between the two. Marcus is hired
to work with Steffy in the shipping/ receiving department. Marcus shows an
interest in Steffy not knowing that she is a Forrester. Ridge comforts an
emotional Brooke as she explains to him about Katie's health. Ridge voices
his disapproval when learning that Katie is with Nick in Catalina.
AS THE WORLD TURNS
Lily and Carly prepare an end-of-school cookout for the children but have
trouble getting the grill started. Since Carly can't reach Jack, Lily calls
Holden. Freshly returned from his trip, Holden arrives but is uneasy around
Carly. Alone, Holden tells Lily he did some thinking while away and feels
like he is in a better place, giving Lily hope. Ethan comes down with a fever
and Lily takes him home, leaving Carly and Holden to finish the cookout.
They begin to feel the chemistry and find it difficult to ignore. Plans are
made to give Sage a riding lesson the next day and a guilty Holden returns
home to Lily.
Alison makes the big decision to sue Chris for sexual harassment. Chris
is discussing the situation with Tom when they get the news. Tom calls Bob
since the lawsuit affects the hospital and he is upset. He asks Lisa to try
and intercede with Bonnie, Alison's lawyer, but to no avail. Meanwhile,
Chris runs into Alison at the hospital and tries to convince her not to take the
case to court. Alison is so upset she leaves work and Bonnie places a call
to Tom, warning him to keep Chris away from her client. Tom tells Chris this
case could be more serious than they thought
while Alison resolves to Aaron
that she will make Chris pay for what he's done.
Noah has stowed away on the boat Mayer is using to escape. Mayer plans to use
Ameera as a bargaining chip to gain his own freedom but Noah makes himself
known and begs Mayer to let them go. In an emotional pitch to his father,
Noah comes close to changing his father's mind. Meanwhile, Lucinda arrives
with the real Coyle off a call for help from Luke. The authorities get a
lead on Mayer's location and they all take off to find them. Just as they come
upon Mayer's boat, Mayer realizes Noah's pitch was a ruse and jumps
overboard. The cops search but cannot find him. Noah is upset when Ameera is
taken into police custody and Luke realizes that Noah blames him for the
outcome.
GUIDING LIGHT
Blake kisses Coop and tells him she wants to have a little fun. Blake says
she hopes Ashlee appreciates Coop. Daisy thinks Ashlee has a crush on
"dog-tag guy". Daisy's shocked to see "G" and learn he's the one who filled
her cars with daisies. "G" tells Daisy he wants to make up for hurting her
and goes to kiss her when Daisy hears Frank pull up. Ashlee, newly confident,
kisses Coop passionately and pulls him into bed. Ashlee tells Coop with
disbelief that someone hit on her while he was gone. Cyrus frantically looks
around for the money. Cyrus calls Adrianna saying he might be able to handle
one more job. Cyrus tells Buzz he has a plan to help Harley. Cyrus returns
to Harley's and finds "G" where his it is revealed that his real name is
Grady-Cyrus's little brother.
Reva and Olivia hear Jolene and Mark making love-but calling each other by
Josh and Reva's name. Reva watches Mark and Jolene play an emotional scene
and tells Jolene she wants to change the ending: she doesn't want "Josh" and
"Reva" to be together at the end. Reva insists to Olivia she's not going
back to Josh-she loves Jeffrey. Reva and Jeffrey's wedding bands are inscribed
with "WTH".
