NEW YORK (CBS) ―
ere are the daily soap opera summaries for "The Young and the Restless," "The Bold and the Beautiful," "As The World Turns," and "Guiding Light."
THE YOUNG AND THE RESTLESS Sharon and Jack prepare Noah for camp as they discuss Gloria's incident with
Jeff. Meanwhile, Gloria frantically calls the Chancellor estate. Before
Esther can give her any information, Jill snatches the phone, lies and
informs Gloria that Jeff died. Gloria begs Sharon to find out if Jeff is
truly dead. Later, Sharon calls Jill, who puts Jeff on the phone. Gloria
spills her heart out to him. At the Chancellor estate, Jill fishes for
information from Gloria about Jeff's earlier comment. Gloria freaks,
wondering if Jeff has told her about the Jabot cream. Gloria blows up at an
unwitting Jeff, believing that he has told Jill everything about the cream.
Michael storms through the Abbott mansion, passed Sharon and Jack who decide
that Gloria has to be gone before Noah gets back from camp. Gloria informs
Michael that she wants to confess to the police about the face cream. David
is forth coming with Paul about his gambling addiction but continues to
worry that Paul is furthering his investigation. David plays it cool when Brad
presses him about Paul and the money he owes, but it's clear the stress is
getting to him. At the gym, Paul watches an interaction between David and
Walter, in which he learns Walters' full name. Later, Paul approaches Walter
in the gym but doesn't manage to get any information from him. Walter calls
David to find out who Paul is. Paul looks into Walter's background. David
reveals to Nikki that Paul is investigating him and that she needs to
prepare herself because he is going to accuse David of being a liar and a
murderer. At Jabot, before the pre-trial hearing, Adam and Heather have a
flirtatious conversation that is interrupted by an all business Michael. Victor
and Nikki meet outside the hearing, neither one backing down. The pre-trial
hearing begins and Michael and Heather submit their evidence to a judge.
Later, the judge returns and urges both sides to settle. When neither
budges, the judge seemingly sides with Heather. Victor rips into Michael and
Adam for not getting him the results he expects.
THE BOLD AND THE BEAUTIFUL
During Marcus' first day at work, Donna warns him to be careful of Eric's
children and a snooping Pam. Later, Marcus and Steffy get better acquainted
as Steffy still doesn't let on as to who she really is. When Marcus dishes
to Donna about the new girl he met, she informs him that Steffy is a
Forrester. Brooke and Bridget worry about Katie's condition and the possibility
of finding another heart for Katie which is almost impossible. While on
the island, Katie divulges some of her deep and somber thoughts to Nick.
AS THE WORLD TURNS
Margo takes Paul in for questioning as Sofie, having brought Mike along for
moral support, presses charges against Paul for rape. Meg goes to get
Barbara who is desperate to keep Paul out of jail. Paul lets Mike know he is
a fool for believing Sofie's lies. Paul believes he has nothing to worry
about but realizes Sofie is playing hardball when she produces evidence. Paul is
suspicious of the evidence but doesn't realize it's the underwear she was
wearing the night they did actually make love. A quick DNA test reveals that
Paul is a match and he is arrested. Later, out on bail, Paul, Meg and
Barbara try to figure out how to discredit Sofie. Meanwhile, Cole shows up
at Sofie's door.
Carly and Sage show up for a riding lesson with Holden. Spooked by his
attraction to Carly, Holden calls Jack who ends up taking Sage and Carly on
the lesson. Later, Carly accosts Holden for putting Jack between them and
Holden almost admits to her he is scared of what is happening between them.
Jack enters into this tense conversation but Carly covers.
Tom has to back out of a boys trip to New York with Daniel and Casey due to
the pending case at the hospital. Though uncomfortable, Emily agrees to take
them, not wanting to disappoint Daniel. In New York, they visit many of the
same places Emily and Casey did on their romantic tryst. Later, with Daniel
at a concert with friends, Emily and Casey come together once again and make
love. Daniel returns and they continue the charade.
GUIDING LIGHT
Cyrus tells Grady he stayed away because he wanted better for him, but learns
that Grady spent time in prison. Before Cyrus can stop her, Cassie comes in
to Harley's, as Grady hides. Grady sees pictures of Daisy in Harley's room
and says it's a small world. Grady asks Daisy for her help. Cyrus asks Grady
where his money is, but Grady blasts that Cyrus hasn't changed, and storms
out. Grady tells Daisy she's beautiful and he takes her to her car, and
Cyrus sees him kiss Daisy
Jeffrey tells Cassie their relationship wasn't a mistake. Reva agrees not to
change the ending of the movie so she and Hawk can keep the rights. Cassie
urges Jeffrey to rest while she takes care of him. Reva goes to Josh to get
the key to the storage unit so she can find their wedding video. Josh notes
that Jeffrey seems bothered by seeing an old picture of him and Cassie together.
Jeffrey starts to bleed through his bandages, and Cassie offers to donate
blood for Jeffrey's transfusion. Reva goes with Josh to help RJ make dinner
for a school project. Josh and Reva are comfortable working side by side as
they make dinner with RJ. Jeffrey and Cassie joke around as the nurse preps
to take Cassie's blood.
