June 23 - Daily Soaps Update

NEW YORK (CBS) ― Here are the daily soap opera summaries for "The Young and the Restless," "The Bold and the Beautiful," "As The World Turns," and "Guiding Light."

THE YOUNG AND THE RESTLESS

Nikki calls Kay for help after hearing that David is leaving her but realizes everyone she loves is at the wedding and she is alone.  Nikki finds David at their suite and refuses to let him leave. David admits to Nikki that he is leaving her because he can't stop gambling.  Nikki reassures David that they can fight his addiction together, but David doesn't want to fight it. Paul informs J.T. that David booked a flight to Las Vegas.  Nikki begs David not to leave her but he walks out on her anyway. Nikki is alone as Paul comes to her about David's trip.  Nikki takes her pain out on Paul and demands for him to stay out of her life. Victor locks eyes with Victoria as Sabrina prepares to walk down the aisle.  When she reaches Victor, Sabrina finally sees Victoria for herself as the minister begins the ceremony.  Victor and Sabrina exchange touching vows and the minister pronounces them husband and wife. While the wedding photographer snaps photos, Zara snaps countless of her own.  There is a strained moment when the photographer asks for a photo with all Victor's children. Victoria comes to Sabrina's defense with Zara and is furious to learn that Zara is planning to sell exclusive photos of the wedding to the highest bidder. Kay and Victor talk as old friends, and Kay realizes that Sabrina is pregnant.  Victoria offers to take a picture of Zara catching the bouquet.  Victoria pretends to take the photo but in fact manages to get the memory card out of the camera. Everyone is shocked to learn Heather and Adam are dating and no one, including Victor, is happy about it.  Neil watches Heather and Adam dancing alone at Indigo, and remains concerned about the couple. 

THE BOLD AND THE BEAUTIFUL 

After many unanswered questions and much persuasion, Nick convinces Beth to come back to Los Angeles with him and Stephen to reunite with her children.  As Katie accepts responsibility for her mother's absence and emotional abandonment, Brooke and Donna present alternative reasons for Beth's actions.   While Katie naps, Brooke receives a phone call from an apprehensive Beth who informs her of her visit.  Brooke becomes a bit worried that her mother didn't sound quite like herself.  Marcus and Steffy talk about Donna being his mother, unaware that Phoebe is listening.

AS THE WORLD TURNS 

Paul and Meg bring Barbara home from the hospital. Meg tells Paul about her concerns that Sofie switched Barbara's medicine to implicate Meg. Paul goes to Lisa and tells her Sofie almost killed Barbara and Lisa tells Sofie she has to move out. Meanwhile, Sofie confronts Mike and accuses him of betraying her. When he finds out she's been forced to move, he offers to help but she rejects him. Later, Paul proposes to Meg in front of Barbara and a taken aback Meg finally says yes. While they are celebrating, Paul gets a call from Sofie, insisting he come to see her. Meg and Barbara try to dissuade him but he wants to be sure Sofie is leaving and will do them no harm. When Paul arrives, Sofie drops the bombshell that she is pregnant.

Brad comes to the farm to try and pry information out of Jack about his relationship with Janet. Jack realizes Brad doesn't want Janet, he just doesn't want Jack to have her. When Janet shows up, Jack needles Brad by inviting her to come watch Parker's tennis game. At the same time, Liberty arrives to watch Parker practice and distracts him with her short skirt. Brad returns to Katie, who has just come from warning Janet not to hurt Jack and proposes they too go to Parker's match. The two couples meet and watch Parker win as Liberty happily sits between her parents. Jack and Janet end up taking Liberty and Parker out to dinner and Brad is hurt. Janet thanks Jack for making her feel she has a family. When Janet brings Liberty home, Brad digs for information but Janet evades. Katie asks Liberty about Parker but she insists he is just a kid. Parker asks Jack if he's dating Janet or just going out with her for the sex.

GUIDING LIGHT

Reva arrives to help Jeffrey home, and they discuss a wedding postponement. Jeffrey and Frank unite to put Grady Foley away for good. Jeffrey comes up with a plan to return to work, which Reva aids by setting up a press conference announcing he's back. Daisy pokes around for info on Grady; Frank tries to dissuade her from being involved with him. Daisy runs into Cassie, who discovers she's still helping Grady. Daisy runs to Grady and he tells her he may have to run. Daisy tells Reva she doesn't want to give up on Grady. Grady finds a toolbox and examines his tracking device. Reva warns Jeffrey that Daisy might not be a good witness in the case against Grady; Daisy overhears them talk about putting Grady away for life.

Cassie, on the phone with Harley, confesses that Cyrus was her one nightstand. She apologizes to a speechless Harley and tells her not to go back to Cyrus. Harley asks Buzz to bring Zach to her, and says she and Cyrus are over. Cassie tells Cyrus she told Harley about them to hurt him. Cyrus demands to know where Harley is, and Buzz tells him to stay away from his family. Cassie calls Josh, asking him to come home. Cyrus is leaving for Europe to find Harley and tells Grady to stay away from Daisy. Later, Cyrus finds Grady's ankle bracelet, then Grady and Daisy kissing.
