NEW YORK (CBS) ―
Here are the daily soap opera summaries for "The Young and the Restless," "The Bold and the Beautiful," "As The World Turns," and "Guiding Light."
THE YOUNG AND THE RESTLESS
Jack has a hard time as the movers remove memories from the mansion, as
Sharon prepares to remodel. Gloria starts picking through the piles of
John's possessions, taking things out to keep. Sale figures are grim at
Restless Style. Nick explains to Phyllis that he has a new marketing plan, but
isn't sure if Jack and Sharon will agree. Phyllis is annoyed when Amber
shows up at the office wearing one of her designs. There is a stand off at
Restless Style. Nick and Phyllis want to concentrate on a younger marker
while Jack and Sharon believe the best way to go is to focus on a more chic,
classic look. Later, Sharon comes up with the idea to use an avatar to link the
webzine to the print magazine. Nick loves the idea. Phyllis, on the other
hand, hates that it was Sharon's idea. Nick and Sharon agree that Amber
would be great as a spokesperson. Phyllis doesn't want to use Amber as the
avatar but Nick and Sharon out vote her. At Jabot, Jack gloats when he sees that
Gloria is the new receptionist. Later, while meeting with Nikki, Jack has a
fantasy about returning to Jabot, and the magazine becoming a huge success
due to his hard work. Gloria eavesdrops on a phone call between Nikki and
David. When David is in a meeting with Nikki and Jill, Jill picks up on the
tension between the newly-weds. Later, Paul makes it clear to David that he
is still watching him. Angry that Jeff chose Gloria over her, Jill gives
Gloria a difficult time at work when she arrives late. Devon admits to Lily
that he trusts Tyra and he's glad he has family in town. Neil and Tyra have
an honest conversation and Tyra promises Neil that she is nothing like
Yolanda. At Indigo, while Devon is with Tyra and Ana, Lily reminds Neil
that Devon has been through a lot in his life and he needs his family, both
of them. Michael informs Lauren he is going to hire Paul to track down his
father, Lowell. Michael gives Paul a copy of his grandmother's diary, and
Paul agrees to do what he can. Paul informs Michael that his father is going by
the name River Baldwin now and is wanted for murder.
THE BOLD AND THE BEAUTIFUL Katie assures Nick that he doesn't need to take care of her anymore now that
her mother has arrived. Overwhelmed by her visit, Beth confirms her travel
arrangements to return to Paris. Brooke overhears these plans and confronts
her mother about not wanting to stay with her family. Marcus frantically
tries to reach Donna to warn her about the possibility that Ridge knows their
secret. Donna convinces Marcus not to leave because she plans to introduce
him to Eric tonight as her son. Ridge and his siblings call Eric into a
meeting to discuss the dire state of their company's image as well as the
lie that Donna has been living.
AS THE WORLD TURNS
Holden shows up at camp after dropping off some horses down the road and
surprises Faith and Natalie. At the same time, Carly shows up at Camp after
dropping JJ at the boy's camp across the lake and surprises Sage. They keep
missing each other, both unaware of the other's presence until they end up
sitting beside each other at the kids' talent show. They enjoy each other's
company until a storm comes and forces everyone indoors. Camp Counselor
Winkie won't let Carly and Holden drive away due to the flash floods and
they find themselves alone in a cabin. They acknowledge the weird situation
but try to ignore it. Holden climbs into the top bunk which crashes down, barely
missing Carly and casing them both to laugh hysterically. When they try to
fix the beds they fall onto the mattress and the sexual tension leads to a
passionate kiss.
Jack comes to pick Parker up at school and finds Janet and Brad waiting for
Liberty. They all agree to go out to eat but Jack calls Janet on trying to
play one brother off the other and backs out. He tells her to call him when
she decides what she wants. At dinner, Liberty shows off her good geometry
grade and gets Brad to agree to a driver's license if the grades improve.
Liberty takes Parker home with her so she can once again get him to do her
geometry homework. There, she continues to distract him until frustrated
Parker finally has enough and grabs her for a kiss, right when Jack enters.
Meanwhile, Brad and Janet are having a friendly drink and talking about
Liberty. She gets him to come to her room on the pretext of giving him
Liberty's sneakers but once she has him in the room she shocks him by
kissing him.
GUIDING LIGHTLizzie's on the phone telling her mom she feels confidant the judge will side
with her and squash Bill's guerilla takeover tactics. Bill paces nervously
in front of the Courthouse, waiting for Lizzie and the judge. Bill and
Lizzie meet at the courthouse. Lizzie steels herself, determined to
win.
