September 8 - Daily Soaps Update

NEW YORK (CBS) ― Here are the daily soap opera summaries for "The Young and the Restless," "The Bold and the Beautiful," "As The World Turns," and "Guiding Light."

THE YOUNG AND THE RESTLESS

Phyllis burst into Restless Style with news for Jack and Sharon that Victor is home. Later, Jack decides they need a tell-all article from Victor, himself. Sharon and Phyllis realize that Jack is using the magazine as a public venue to hurt Victor. Adam finds himself with newly established confidence as he sits himself behind Victor's desk. Meanwhile, Nick and Victoria are overcome when they embrace Victor for the first time since his return.

Later, Victor tells Victoria and Nick that he no longer holds them responsible for their actions, leading to Sabrina's death. Gloria and Jeff meet with Jana and Kevin as their conversation progresses, Jana and Kevin realize Jeff and Gloria are up to their old tricks. Later, Gloria confesses to Kevin that she has been buying more Jabot stock than Jeffrey realizes. Kevin looks irked that he isn't in on Gloria's schemes any longer. Neil has Adam escorted from Newman Enterprises. Nick and Victoria are hurt when they see Victor putting his walls back up, even with his own children. Nick lashes out at Victor in his hurt but Victor merely asks them both to leave him alone. On their way out, they run into Adam, who is preparing to pack his things and the tension mounts. Kevin begins to worry that he and Jana have become boring. Meanwhile, Jeff tells Gloria that when they take control of Jabot he is making himself CEO. Later, Gloria counters saying that Jack will only help them if she is made CEO. Sharon and Phyllis get into an argument over Jack offering to buy Phyllis and Nick out of Restless Style.

Later, Jack tries to come up with the funds to buy Nick out. As Nick, Adam and Victoria start to get into it Victor comes out of his study and tells them all to get out. Later, Victor is startled by Sharon and Noah's arrival. Victoria runs into Nikki and tells her what transpired at the ranch, both fearing that Victor is in a darker place than they ever imagined. At the ranch, Sharon pleads with Victor for his help resolving the tension at Restless Style. She asks him to help Nick. Meanwhile, Phyllis talks to Nick about the possibility of Jack buying them out. Jeff warns Gloria about betraying him. Neil tells an unconvinced J.T. that Victor will eventually return to Newman Enterprises. Meanwhile, everyone watches as the media airs a pre-recorded statement from Victor asking to be left alone by the press, his friends and his family. Adam shows up at the magazine to talk to Jack about Victor.


THE BOLD AND THE BEAUTIFUL

Donna's love and loyalty to Eric prevent her from going any further with Owen. Ridge sends Donna and Owen away on a business trip to Paris as he conspires with his mother to secretly bring Eric home from the hospital. Katie sits by the phone as she waits to hear from Nick and imagines the worst outcome from his confession to Bridget. As Nick explains the events leading up to Katie becoming pregnant with his child, Bridget is in complete shock and sheer disgust.


AS THE WORLD TURNS

Alison is with her mother and sister shopping for a wedding dress when Aaron brings her chocolates. Chris calls and tells her he's at the hospital and needs her to take care of the dog. Alison makes up an excuse and goes to Chris's room. When Chris gets back she leaves and forgets the chocolates. Later, Dani enlists Casey to invite Chris to lunch so she can "drop" by. Chris soon catches on but Dani convinces him to stay. Back in his room, Alison goes to get the chocolates and discovers the dog has eaten them all. She panics and calls Chris, knowing that chocolate can be toxic for dogs. Chris tells Dani he has to go to the hospital, but she sees him get on the elevator. In the room, Chris and Alison look after the dog together. When the dog is fine, Alison begins to cry. Chris thinks it's because of the dog, but Alison says it's not the dog at all.

Paul is distressed about trying to find James's treasure and Barbara tells him she'll get the money he owes Derek by liquidating her resources but she needs another week. Paul tells James he doesn't need his help after all. Paul calls Derek and asks for more time but Derek says he only has 24 hours. Paul asks Henry get Derek to back off. Henry learns that Derek is a loan shark and worries for Bonnie, but Vienna tells him to stay out of it. Henry calls his friend and finds out he never sent Derek and concerned, Henry follows Derek. He ends up in the wine cellar where he sees Derek and James together. In shock, he drops a bottle and they catch him. James makes Henry call Paul and tell him he better do what Derek wants, and then locks him in the wine cellar. Later, Paul tells Barbara he's going to get a caterpillar and dig until he finds the treasure or hits rock. Meanwhile, Vienna is angry that Henry has disappeared and thinks it has something to do with Bonnie.


GUIDING LIGHT

Cassie slaps Cyrus in the face for kissing her. He says he thinks maybe everyone would be better off if he and his brother never came to Springfield. Cyrus inadvertently tells Cassie that Grady turned in Rafe. He decides to clean up his mess - Grady's.
Buzz arranges it through Frank that Daisy can visit Rafe. Meanwhile, Grady makes a fake phone call to the police about trouble at Harley's house and then proceeds to trash the exterior of the house, knocking over paint and smashing his fist through the glass window. Remy rushes up and accuses Grady of trashing the place himself.

At the police station, Frank tells Daisy that Grady was taken to the hospital. Daisy runs off to find him. Grady knows that his plan to keep Daisy from Rafe is working. He tells Daisy that he couldn't get over what her mom did to her so he lost it and started breaking things. Daisy, moved by his passion for her, silences him with kisses. Cassie arrives and tells Daisy the truth about Grady-that he was the one that turned Rafe in. Grady explains that he tried to protect Daisy from Rafe. Daisy is upset that Grady ruined Rafe's life. She can't be with Grady anymore. Grady is left more hurt and angry than ever. Back at Harley's house, Cyrus surveys the damage. Frank arrives on the scene and asks if Cyrus was part of the destruction. Cyrus tells him he is only there to say goodbye. Frank tells him he's doing the right thing by leaving. Cyrus goes to the farmhouse and is standing outside the property when his phone rings. Cassie, on the other line, asks Cyrus what he is doing there. When he arrives at her door, she tells him she doesn't need a guard. Cyrus decides to camp out in front of the house.

Reva and Jeffrey are ready to begin their honeymoon and decide to choose their destination at the airport. They avoid talking about the pregnancy but both of them are privately freaking out. Jeffrey secretly visits Lillian and asks her honest opinion about Reva's risks. Lillian admits her worry and Jeffrey becomes more concerned about Reva. Meanwhile, Reva opens a box of Marah and Shayne's baby things. She looks at photos of Josh with both kids, but not with her. She is reminded of all that she missed. Reva decides to tell Cassie that she's pregnant. She's shocked, but goes home to look through Tammy's baby things for Reva. Reva then tells Billy the big news. Billy, upset, tells her she has to think about her life first. He asks her what will happen if the cancer comes back and Jeffrey is left alone with the child. This leaves a big weight on Reva's shoulders. Jeffrey in the meantime is telling Buzz, who point blank asks Jeffrey if he wants the baby. Jeffrey says yes, but he doesn't want to put Reva's life in jeopardy. Back together at Cross Creek, Reva and Jeffrey continue to avoid the monumental decision that needs to be made.
