AS THE WORLD TURNS

Casey is moping around the house after his break-up with Emily and Margo tells him she understands what he's going through. Casey's surprised she's so understanding and explains he was more hurt by Emily excluding him from her decision to have her tubes tied than the actual break-up. Margo doesn't criticize Emily, which Casey appreciates. Meanwhile, Emily sees Susan at the hospital and tells her that she and Dusty are just friends. Susan thinks she's making a mistake but Emily doesn't want to hear it.

Dusty's not feeling well and comes to the hospital, where Alison sees him for the first time. She tells him she's putting the money he left her to good use, going to nursing school, but she messed up her marriage to Aaron. A doctor enters and tells Dusty his symptoms are due to his gunshot wound being infected. While he waits for Alison to fill the doctor's prescriptions, Dusty sees Susan, who warns him to stay away from Emily. When Alison returns, Dusty is gone. Emily is at the hospital getting a post-surgery checkup herself and they realize Susan scared Dusty off. Emily takes the meds to bring to Dusty, over Susan's objections.

Meg doesn't reveal that she knows it was Dusty and suggests he just accept his good fortune but Paul's determined to find out the truth. He runs into Emily who also knows Dusty paid the bills and taunts Paul, saying if he really wants to know the truth, ask his wife. Later, Emily arrives to bring Dusty his medicine. After a close moment, Emily and Dusty make love but agree afterward that they are just friends. Meanwhile, Paul returns to Meg to question her about the money and she ultimately reveals it was Dusty. Paul surprises her by taking it calmly and she gives him his medication and puts him to bed.

Later, the ghost of James taunts Paul into searching Meg's bag, and he finds the card Dusty gave her with his PI's information. Paul lies to Meg about a business trip and sets off.

Aaron tells Holden his marriage is over, but Holden tells him that if he still loves Alison, he shouldn't give up so easily. Aaron asks Holden if he's sure Lily's over Dusty. Holden says he trusts her. Aaron thinks he's right, that Lily really loves him. Aaron asks Alison to meet him at Java, and tells her he wants to make their marriage work. But she doesn't want to keep hurting him, thinks he deserves better. He realizes she's saying it's over. He goes, and Casey sees her pain, says he has the cure, and takes her back to his house to play video games until the pain goes away. Meanwhile, Aaron tells Holden it's over, but he's going to keep looking for someone to love.

Lucinda goes to Holden to ask him to intercede on her behalf with Lily, but he refuses. They end up in a fight that Margo sees. She has come to ask Holden about Dusty's fake death, trying to get evidence to charge him with a crime. Holden says he doesn't know anything and has no idea who helped him. Margo goes to Lucinda, suggests Holden revealed something, but Lucinda doesn't admit to knowing anything.

THE BOLD AND THE BEAUTIFUL

GUIDING LIGHT

Lizzie practices her speech for the presentation while Bill pulls an article out of the newspaper that reads "Make or Break Day for Spaulding-Lewis." Outside, Grady paces on the patio, waiting. Daisy, who has been watching him, admits she's following him because she's worried after seeing him with Alan. Grady tells her it's just a job. Lizzie emerges, all business, and leaves for the meeting. Daisy can't believe Lizzie is his "job." Inside, Dinah sarcastically asks Vanessa why the power is about to be turned off at the TV station. Vanessa says Dinah needs to stop thinking everything is a plot against her. Dinah heads out with determination. At the presentation site, Lizzie and Bill walk onto the stage in front of the cameras, ready to beam the presentation world-wide. They look at the rendering of the new Macau hotel and are reminded of how great things can be when they work together. Suddenly the image of the hotel goes dark. They begin to argue and Decker calls them out for being unprofessional.

Meanwhile, Dinah asks Alan why he isn't doing anything about Lizzie and Bill. When she leaves, Alan lifts himself from his chair and gets a cigar. At Company, Daisy shows Buzz the key Grady gave her and can't understand why she can't just be happy. Buzz understands and says it's never easy to end things with someone you cared for. Outside the presentation site, Dinah slams Grady for failing to get Lizzie. Grady tells her it's her fault, too. Lizzie has gone home to change and sees Alan who tells her she could run the company without Bill and Bill will never share it with her anyway. Alan offers to have Decker remove Bill from the project but Lizzie says she needs Bill and heads out. Bill, meanwhile, yanks a
glass out of Billy's hand when he sees a bottle of bourbon nearby. Billy admits he's disappointed that Vanessa turned him down. When Billy tells him he had the most perfect woman in the world and threw it all away, Bill looks over to a photo of Lizzie. Bill suddenly declares that he's not going to lose Lizzie-she's more important than business. Bill knocks back Billy's drink and realizes it is iced tea. Dinah tries to enter the presentation site but the security guard won't let her in. Daisy, meanwhile, prepares to flush Grady's key down the toilet. She hears a noise outside and moves to the window. Grady, drunk, is smashing beer bottles against a tree. Daisy calls out to him to stop. Grady walks off. Daisy sweeps up the mess. She slips the key back into her pocket. The presentation is about to begin and Decker is nervous that Lizzie is not there yet. Bill is confident in Lizzie and excited to declare his love for her. Bill calls Lizzie and leaves a voicemail. Dinah, meanwhile, is feeling lower than low. Grady tells her he got her something to make her feel better. Grady leads Dinah down a few steps... to reveal Lizzie, bound, gagged, and blindfolded in a chair.
