Here are the daily soap opera summaries for "The Young and the Restless," "The Bold and the Beautiful," "As The World Turns," and "Guiding Light."
THE YOUNG AND THE RESTLESS
Phyllis learns that Billy is living with Amber. Phyllis informs Amber that she broke her lease agreement when she allowed Billy to move in and now must move out. Amber calls Loveline again for advice after talking to Jana. At Restless Style, Phyllis hears Amber talking about her on Loveline and calls in. Lily gets a message on the online dating site from an interesting guy with the screen name Sonny Crawford. Billy is the face behind Sonny Crawford. Later, Billy calls Colleen in order to get an invite to Crimson Lights where she is hanging out with Lily. Chloe overhears this and suddenly has a craving for scones. Colleen explains to Billy that Lily is on an online dating site and as Billy is flirting with Lily, Cane and Chloe arrive. The awkwardness is broken when the baby kicks Chloe and Cane feels his child for the first time. Lily can't take anymore and moves off just as Colleen hears Amber and Phyllis on Loveline. Mayhem ensues when Daniel catches Phyllis on the phone and he decides to get on the line with
Dr. Drew myself. While Cane is checking on Lily, Billy reveals to Chloe that he saw Cane and Lily kiss. Billy and Colleen listen as Amber, Daniel and Phyllis fight on national radio. Daniel is pushed to the edge and admits he still loves Amber. Michael finds River in the warehouse with a fake gun. Michael tries to talk River off the ledge by insisting to him that Michael knows he is innocent.
Michael pleads with River to let him prove he is innocent. Later, River and
Michael come out of the warehouse and River is arrested. As Nikki packs Victor's suitcase she remembers her life with him and the many times they have saved each other. Nikki brings J.T. Victor's suitcase and explains to him that he knows what to do with it. Esther admits to Jill that she is concerned that there is something wrong with Kay. Later, a woman resembling Kay orders a drink in a bar.
AS THE WORLD TURNS
Still sore over losing his job, Jack ignores Janet at Al's and she calls Carly
for help. Carly asks Jack over, and he figures out she's trying to help Janet
and calls her on the fact that she's doing it to put distance between them.
Carly tells him Janet was right to worry that he's not working but Jack insists he's fine. Meanwhile Vienna and Henry offer to help Janet get Jack back by using Henry to make him jealous. But Vienna freaks out when Henry kisses Janet. Later, Carly finds Jack seeing a movie he's seen multiple times, and she talks him into going for a walk. They're by the pond when Carly insists her saving him from drowning was not evidence of the inevitability of their relationship, and to prove it she pushes him in and leaves him. Furious Jack follows her home and caught in a heated moment, they start to make love. Janet arrives, interrupting them and Jack tells Carly to get rid of her. Carly lies to Janet, saying it's not Jack whom she's got up in her bedroom. Then Jack returns to Janet at the diner and has pie with her, in an unspoken peace accord while Carly sits at home
and eats pie alone.
While Brad and Spencer tape a successful OAKDALE 411 episode involving Chinese food, Katie expresses doubts to Kim about Spencer. Kim tries to assuage the doubts and then Spencer returns to the studio and gives Katie Chinese leftovers. Katie gets very sick to her stomach and can't do the live episode of OAKDALE NOW. She goes home and watches the show with Liberty, horrified to see Kim has replaced her with Spencer for the day. Katie gets sicker and Liberty takes her to the hospital, unable to reach Brad who's gone to Yo's with Spencer. Katie suspects Spencer of poisoning her and sends Liberty to find the leftovers, but they're gone. Katie tells Brad of her suspicions but Brad doesn't believe her.
THE BOLD AND THE BEAUTIFUL
After Taylor admits her feelings to Ridge, she leaves him with a couple of reminders to ponder. A heartbroken and hopeless Donna turns down Owen's plan in fear of Pam's retribution. Owen reverts back to his old ways while comforting a newly-single Donna. Rick refuses to believe Brooke when she explains to him about Taylor's admission about Ridge. Brooke defends her relationship when Rick tries to turn the subject around to question Ridge's true feelings.
GUIDING LIGHT
Mallet and Marina decide to question Cyrus and Cassie about the stolen stereo. Marina tries to act casual and pretends to run into Cyrus. She asks him why he is sticking around and he says he needs to watch over Grady. He presses her about Harley's house and she admits that she and Mallet are buying it for themselves. Cyrus tries to hide the sting from hearing that. Marina questions him about his full-time job and then mentions something about Cassie and her neighbors. Cyrus gets suspicious and runs off to find Cassie. Meanwhile, Mallet asks Cassie if she has seen or heard anything about the break-ins in the area. Cassie, nervous, responds too quickly and Mallet digs a little deeper to find that Cassie has been having Cyrus work on her house. Mallet questions her about her relationship with Cyrus and about the stolen stereo she donated, and Cyrus bursts in just in time to prevent her from cracking. Mallet knows they are on to him, so he tells them he knows Cyrus stole the stereo. He offers them a chance to prove him wrong, but Cyrus responds with outrage at the accusation and says they will even take polygraphs if necessary. After Mallet leaves, Cassie is overwhelmed, but Cyrus says he will take care of it and teaches her how to beat a polygraph. As they practice a polygraph test, he leans in to help her breathe and the moment is fraught with sexual tension.
Marina admits to Frank that she and Mallet are trying to buy Harley's house. Frank is silent and leaves, but returns with a checkbook for her. He has been saving for her wedding since she was a little girl, and he tells her to use the money to buy the house. Marina is thrilled and tells Mallet. She admits the money was being saved up for her wedding, and the two have a brief, awkward moment before Mallet chases her up into their new bedroom.
Dinah asks Grady to be nice to Lizzie because they used to be friends and she doesn't' want him to torture her. Dinah says that this is not all about Lizzie; it is about making Bill suffer and then she can be there to pick up the pieces. Dinah and Grady are getting hot and heavy as Lizzie continues to yell for help in the basement. She tries to rub the bonds against a sharp edge that she finds, but to no avail. Dinah isn't sure what to do with Lizzie, so she heads off to the Spaulding home. Bill looks at a picture of Lizzie and asks Beth if she has seen her, but Beth hasn't. Bill tells Beth how he is a little bitter that Lizzie never showed up for the presentation. Beth says that Lizzie may have done it to give Bill his chance to take the spotlight and he should be thanking Lizzie. Bill says he would if he knew where she was. Dinah bumps into Bill who tells her
that the presentation went well and that Decker still wants to do business with him. He also tells her that he was going to tell Lizzie he loved her. Dinah decides to pack some of Lizzie's things and make it look like Lizzie ran away. Mallet sees Dinah struggling with this large bag of clothes and offers to help. She refuses his offer and finds out that he and Marina are buying Harley's house. She feels gut-punched and does a bad job covering it. Meanwhile, Lizzie tells her kidnapper (Grady) that she will give him any amount of money if he sets her free. Grady takes her ATM information and heads out. He runs into Cyrus, but turns down Cyrus' offer for a job since Grady already has something big going on. Dinah returns with Lizzie's clothes and tells Grady they have to do things her way. As he pulls her into a hot kiss, he throws his magazine aside and cuts outs of little letters are revealed. Bill enters Lizzie's room and sees that it is torn apart. He is in shock at how much of her stuff is gone. When he walks outside to cool off, he finds a ransom note for Lizzie written with cut outs of magazine letters.
