Dolphins Linebacker Pope Hospitalized

DAVIE (CBS4) ― Miami Dolphins linebacker Derrick Pope missed practice on Saturday after being hospitalized for undisclosed reasons.



A team spokesman said Dolphins coach Cam Cameron would address Pope's situation at an afternoon press conference.



Pope told CBS4 news partners The Miami Herald that he is "fine," but did not want to elaborate.

Pope's status for Monday night's game against the Pittsburgh Steelers was not immediately known. He has started at outside linebacker for the past five games.
