Dolphins Sign Two More 2009 Draft Picks

MIAMI (CBS4) ― Two more Miami Dolphins draft picks put their signatures on their first pro football contract. Third-round pick, wide receiver Patrick Turner out of USC and seventh-round pick linebacker J.D. Folsom out of Weber State University, are now ready to earn their roster spots.

Turner stands 6 feet 5 inches and weighs 223 pounds and was a four-year letterman and two-year starter at USC. Turner had 138 receptions for 1,752 yards and 17 touchdowns while at Southern California. He brings some much needed size to the Dolphins receiving corps and had some pundits thinking about another Parcells pick out of USC, Keyshawn Johnson.

Folsom was a two-year letterman had 179 tackles, 5.5 sacks and one interception over the course of his college career. Folsom played quarterback and linebacker in high school and was a national qualifier in team roping on his high school rodeo team.
