Canes Suspend Guard Rios For 2nd Time This Season
CORAL GABLES (CBS4) ―
For the second time this season the Miami Hurricanes basketball team suspend backup point guard Eddie Rios.
On Monday, Rios was suspended indefinitely from team activities for violating team rules relating to following team protocol and lack of communication with coaches.
Rios was first suspended before a game against Ohio State in early December for violating an unspecified team rules.
The sophomore is averaging 4.7 points per game, 1.7 rebounds a game, and 1.3 assists a game.
