Parcells Fires Back At Taylor Rumors

MIAMI (CBS4) ― Miami Dolphins' V.P. Bill Parcells has fired back at reports and rumors that Jason Taylor and Miami Dolphins could soon be going their seperate ways.

CBS4 Sports reported that multiple sources, including Jason Coles from Yahoo.com Sports, have said that the defensive end and the Dolphins have agreed to part ways some time before the April 26th NFL draft. Coles, who used to work with CBS4's news partner the Miami Herald as the Dolphin beat writer, indicated there was no word if Taylor would be traded or retire.

On ESPN's Sunday Morning, Dolphin's vice president of football operations Bill Parcells denied there was any truth to the report that the team and Taylor had agreed to part ways or that he was being traded.

Parcells said Taylor would be on the team in 2008 unless he chose to retire.

Earlier this year the Dolphin's waived Taylor's brother-in-law; seven-time Pro Bowl linebacker Zach Thomas.

Taylor's entire 11-year career has been with the 'Fins.
