FOXBORO, MA - NOVEMBER 8: Randy Moss #81 of the New England Patriots runs for a touchdown as Yeremiah Bell #37 of the Miami Dolphins gives chase at Gillette Stadium on November 8, 2009 in Foxboro, Massachusetts. The Patriots won 27-17.

Randy Moss used a stiff-arm to erase a one-point Dolphins lead. It was all downhill for Miami after that.
Moss ran into the record books after scoring on a 71-yard
go ahead touchdown, and Tom Brady finished with 332 yards passing as the New England Patriots beat the Miami Dolphins, 27-17, on Sunday.
It took the Dolphins 10 minutes to march down field in the third to go ahead, 17-16. Moss and Brady connected for their second highlight play of the night 1:36 later to put the Patriots up for good.
"That's like getting stabbed in the heart right there," Patriots guard Logan Mankins said. "You grind it out for like 10 minutes and finally score, and then in like a minute and a half we come right back."
Moss caught six passes for 147 yards, and Laurence Maroney added a rushing touchdown for the Patriots, who stayed perfect at home.
That's when Moss put a nice move on Vontae Davis, Miami's rookie who was playing well up to that point. On third and one at the New England 29, Moss broke free from Davis at the line. Moss caught a pass from Brady, then used a stiff-arm in transition to put Davis on the ground en route to scoring the sixth longest touchdown of his career.
"That's Randy Moss," said Davis, who also intercepted Brady's pass toward Moss on the Patriots' first series. "He's going to make his plays and I just tried to limit him the best I could."
The score put New England ahead for good, 24-17, and put Moss in the record books again. The touchdown via reception was Moss' 140th, which ties Terrell Owens for second best all-time. The 100-plus yards receiving was the 63rd of his career, which places him in second in NFL history behind Jerry Rice (76).
"Everybody did what they had to do and 71 yards later it was a touchdown," Moss said.
Said Brady: He's so fast. It's always nice for a quarterback when you see the back of (No.) 81 sprinting down the field.
Miami had a final chance to tie it in the fourth, but quarterback Chad Henne threw four incomplete passes to turn the ball over on downs with 2:50 on the clock.
New England kicker Stephen 40-yard field goal, his fourth of the night, to put New England ahead for good with 1:09 on the clock.
