Another game, another season ending injury for the Miami Dolphins.
Nose tackle Jason Ferguson will likely miss the rest of the season with a right knee injury after getting hurt in the Carolina game this Thursday, the Sun Sentinel reported on its web site late Saturday.
Ferguson's season-ending injury would be the third this season for the Dolphins, who have already lost quarterback Chad Pennington and running back Ronnie Brown this season.
Pennington dislocated his shoulder early in the season against San Diego, and Brown had surgery on his right foot after going down against Tampa Bay this past Sunday.
Ferguson, 34, is in the last year of his contract with the Dolphins, who picked up the veteran in a trade with the Dallas Cowboys in 2008.
On Friday, Miami coach Tony Sparano said he was concerned about the patched-up Dolphins roster - center Jake Grove also left the Panthers game with an injury.
"I'm concerned about them all, not sure to the degree of whose worse one way or the other. None of it was great last night. Obviously, Ferguson, Jake did not come back, so those two at the time were just a little bit bigger."
