Get your motors running, but when you head out on the highway toward the Homestead Miami Speedway this weekend, get ready to slow down. Thousands of NASCAR fans from around the country will swarm to the Homestead Miami Speedway over the course of the three day Ford Championship Weekend. With all the added drivers funneling south toward Homestead, you can bet that traffic will be thick, particulary after the checkered flag waves following the final championship drag on Sunday night.

Brown Having Surgery On Injured Foot On Friday

Dolphins running back Ronnie Brown remained in Charlotte after Thursday night's Panthers game to undergo surgery on his broken foot. Brown suffered a Lisfranc fracture to his right foot during a game against the Buccaneers and will have Dr. Bob Anderson perform surgery on the injured foot.
